🎆 Looking Back at 2019 🎆

Today is the second-to-last day of the year and I really can't believe it! It feels like I blinked and this year was over!!! Does anyone feel the same? In ways, this year was both widely amazing and crushingly depressing in different ways, so I figured this would be the best time to look back on things~

So, if you're ready, follow me on this little look-thru the year before it comes to an end~

My Blog 

2019 was the year I really started taking blogging more seriously and when I really started churning out content on a more regular basis, which was both really rewarding and also frustrating since there were many times when I would be too busy or tired from work to update on schedule 😵 but I knew it wouldn't something I'd immediately get the hang of :) Here's to 2020 being a better year for my blog and in sha Allah, I hope to see this blog grow in readers 🤲🏼💕!

Friends

This year was when I actually decided to cut a lot of ex-friends out of my life and while it was upsetting and difficult at times, I can honestly say that I made the right decision! ^^ My life is much more happier and relaxed and drama-free now that I don't have negative and drama-addicted people in it. I think the friends that hurt the most to cut out of my life were the ones I'd known for years, but I think we just outgrew each other. For one former friend, it was like, I couldn't remember why we were even friends in the first place and didn't recognise the person he'd become. I made some new friends that are really wonderful and hold the same values and support me which is really great! I know that we have each other's back which is the best feeling in the world ♡

My Darling 

We've been together for three years now, but this year was really the year when things finally fell in place and we grew comfortable and relaxed around each other, masha'Allah. Sometimes I wish we'd started courting earlier but I know now that we got together when it was the right time. We both had a lot of growing and changing to do and when I look at the people we were when we first became a couple, I'm more and more amazed at how different we are, subhan'Allah ♡ I can truly say we're grown and changed together and I wouldn't trade him for anyone in the whole world 🙅‍♀️! 

What's Next?

My hope and dua for the year to come is that things will get better in my personal and professional life, in sha Allah 🤲🏼💕 

"There is no ease except that which You make easy and You make difficulty, if you wish, easy."

I make this dua on a regular basis and I believe that Allah (swt) hears my dua and is carrying through this dunya and in sha Allah, he will show me more love and mercy than I previously known in the previous years 🤲🏼💕 My life is a little difficult and sometimes can feel very overwhelming and almost impossible to deal with, but I'm sure that things will improve as long as I work hard and keep my iman strong, in sha Allah.

Here's to 2020 and may Allah (swt) grant all of us much strength, happiness and success in this new year and may we never lose sight of His everloving mercy and love and may we always keep Him close in our hearts and souls and strive to do good and become better people with each year, in sha Allah 🤲🏼💕
