My June Favourites ❤

I know my monthly favourites is still a pretty irregular feature in my blog, but I thought what better time for one than in the first(ish) week of the new month 🌞! If you'd like this to become a regular feature, please comment below! Also, if there's anything you'd like me to try or review or just give my thoughts on, please comment below as I'd love to hear your thoughts~♡!

RoC Night Cream

I mentioned them on my facebook and instragram accounts (not sure if I mentioned them on my twitter...?), but I recently decided to start using RoC day and night creams. I'd previously gone and bought a few L'Oreal face creams but... >.>;; since all of them require you to wash and scrub your face before and after, I had a really hard time keeping up with it regularly. However, since I'm nearing my thirties, I decided it was probably a good idea to start regularly using a face and night cream. Not because I really need it right now, but because I figured it makes more sense to start your routine early rather than wait til it's painfully obvious you need to, since it's too late by then.

I got the night cream first and I really liked it!!! It's really light and doesn't really have a smell to it, which is nice. When it comes to skin care, I prefer either very light scents or no scent at all, so I was really pleased with the scent. It also felt very nice and cool on my skin, which I really liked ♡ Some face creams just feel very heavy and oily on your skin, which I absolutely hate! I like that you don't need very much and your skin really does feel softer and smoother after about three days of using it 😊😊😊 I actually loved the night cream so much, I decided to get the day cream too!

But... I can't say I'm a fan, as sad as that is :( the day cream is a lot heavier and has a very strong and nutty smell to it (almost like almonds mixed with coconuts) so it really rubbed me the wrong way. It's also super heavy on the skin and just feels awful when I put it on, so I only used it a few times and then stopped.

Disappointing considering how lovely and amazing the night cream is....

Crocs πŸŠ

I know what you're thinking lol and yes! I agree that Crocs aren't the prettiest shoes and are actually pretty ugly, not to mention you have to wear socks unless you want your feet to be polka dotted! HOWEVER! I tried a pair and wow! They are some of the comfiest damn shoes I've ever worn in my life!! I have to stand all day at work and I was really starting to suffer from awful back, hip, leg and foot pain πŸ˜₯ I tried shoe after shoe after shoe to not avail!

So finally, I decided to try Crocs since a co-worker swore by them that they were the best thing in the world. I was a little skeptical, but after my first day at work wearing them, standing on concrete for eight straight hours and O M G! My feet only really started to get sore about six and a half to seven hours in! As opposed to before, when my feet were stinging and felt like pins and needles all day long. I was so in love and relieved that I decided to get another pair so I wouldn't wear one out from wearing it too much. I ended up getting a really cute Minnie Mouse-themed red pair and I love them so much πŸ˜‹

I buy my Crocs off Amazon since it's $20 cheaper and I also save a lot on the shipping too!

Baby Lips (Lip Balm)

I LOVE liquid lipstick, but then again, who doesn't? It lasts so much longer than normal lipstick so it's more economical and it's barely a hassle since you only have to put it on once and it lasts all day~♡ But! What I really do NOT love about liquid lipstick? The way it dries out my lips and makes them all gross and chapped ;( I tried Eos since I remembered how popular they were when they first came out so figured they had to be good. But no luck. My lips were still chapped and peeling (gross, I know!) So, I went for Burt's Bees.

I love that brand and knew from previous use that their products are really good and worth your money, but it just didn't seem to do much (though it was a lot better than the Eos). Finally, I heard about Baby Lips and decided to try it, because what was there to lose? And wow! It really made my lips soft and smooth again πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’• No more ugly chapped and rough and peeling lips, but nice, super soft and smooth to the touch lips πŸ‘„πŸ‘„πŸ‘„! I like that it doesn't feel very heavy on your lips like other balms do and it's also not very oily, which a huge plus!

Ogx Biotin and Collagen Oil Treatment

I'm sure you've figured out by now, but I'm a huge fan of hair care and I love nothing more than to pamper and care for my hair (even brushing it three times a day). So I'm always on the lookout for new hair treatments or products to help keep my hair nice and healthy and feeling nice πŸ’‡‍♀️πŸ’‡‍♀️πŸ’‡‍♀️πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’• I was perusing through the hair care aisle at work and noticed the Ogx Biotin and Collagen Oil Treatment. I've used Ogx in the past and really liked it and felt like you really got your money's worth from their products.

So when I saw this oil treatment, I was really interested and decided to try it and wow! Boy am I happy I did! I use a little (maybe a dime-size) everyday after I wash my hair and after it's dried for about an hour and just run it through my hair on my fingers and palms and brush it through to make sure it really gets in ♡

My hair feels much softer and fluffier and I can't imagine going without it! I'd even go so far as to say it's just as good as BioSilk!

Detective Pikachu for 3DS

I mentioned previously, but I'd wanted this game since I saw it a year ago, but just never got it (partially because of the price tag and partially because I was too shy to ask my Darling for it). I worked up the courage to ask and my Darling got it for me for my very first Eidi, masha'Allah πŸ€²πŸΌπŸ€²πŸΌπŸ€²πŸΌπŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•! Weeell... I've been playing it non-stop ever since I got it and it's one of the best games I've ever played! If you've seen the movie that recently came out, it follows kind of the same storyline with a bunch of added Pokemon-related incidents that you have to solve with Pikachu.

I'm very bad at puzzle games so I was more than a little apprehensive about playing since I normally get stuck. I won't lie: I've gotten stuck more than plenty of times, but I love that Pikachu can give you little hints and you can also look at your notes to figure it out. I also love all the super cute Pokemon you meet and I like that Pikachu can talk to them and get all the gossip and intel you could possibly need.

I'm still not done playing it (on easy mode lol), but I'm sure once I do, I'll play it on the next level of difficulty and see how well I do~♡

That's it for my June Favourites~♡ Thanks for reading and please comment and share if you liked this post πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•
