Lazy Day 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼

The past few days have been really chilly and it's made me want to just stay inside and be lazy and I'm sure I'm not the only one!

So when it was my day off, I decided to just lounge around and enjoy my day, before deciding to get my nails done, as it was long overdue--I got them done at the beginning of October long before Halloween! Definitely time for an upgrade! Since it was a Monday and also chilly and rainy, the salon wasn't very busy, which is always nice.

When I got there, I noticed they'd changed the way for you to pick and choose the colours, which I was really impressed and amazed at:

Before, each colour was on its own stick, so it was a bit hard to tell what the difference between the different shades of pink or blue were, as you had to keep going back and forth trying to decide. One thing that always made me really stressed was how long it would take me to choose a colour, but with this new way: with three shades of colour per stick, it was super easy! I could really easily compare the different shades of pink and even the different hot pink glitter nail options without feeling overly stressed or anxious, which I loved!!!

Just one more way that Cozy Nail Lounge is doing everything to make themselves the absolute best 💟💟💟

Afterwards, I decided to stop at the Gringos on my way home, since I'm mexican and love to eat some tex-mex :) 

It wasn't too overly crowded either, although it was starting to fill up a little since I got there a little before everyone started getting off from work. I ended up getting a booth all to myself :D and the chips were very hot and fresh, which is always nice :3 I decided to get the enchilladas since it looked like it would be really good and it was amazing! :D I think it'll be my new go to whenever I go there, in sha Allah~

I'm not sure if my Darling's ever even been to Gringo's before, but I think I might suggest it in the future, in sha Allah, since I'm sure he'd love it!

The other day at work, there was an event going on for Mickey Mouse's ninetieth birthday and they were having what was called a "Mickey Mouse Raffle" where they were giving away free toys. They were also giving away these nice pins to anyone who wrote a Happy Birthday card to Mickey, and I asked if I could get have one for my parents as well as me, and the lady was so nice and gave me three pins just in case I needed an extra one :3

The other day at work, I was outside on the patio all day and it was just ever so cold!!! I felt like I was being dipped in freezing cold water and every time the wind would blow, it felt like I was being chilled all the way down to the bone :x I bought some faux-fur lined gloves, glove liners, hot hands and even some absolutely adorable earmuffs ;3 BUT! I was still freezing!! I didn't really want to go and buy a jacket on top of everything else, so I decided to do the only thing I could do and called my Darling lol!!

I called him up and told him I was colder than he could imagine and that I was just completely miserable and asked him to please bring me one of his jackets so I could stay warm, in sha Allah. At first, he wasn't sure which one to bring, but ended up saying that he "knew just the one" and assured me that he would bring it out to me as soon as he got to work and hung up. Later that day, I was peeking out the gate hoping to see him walking through the parking lot, but just didn't seem to ever see him and was getting colder and colder. All of a sudden, I noticed a really loud "clop clop" and turned around to see my hero coming up to me with his big winter jacket in his arms!! 😍😍😍 I got all excited and smiley (not going to lie: this happens whenever I see him) and ran over to where he was, before he smiled and tossed me his jacket and then told me he had to go clock in before he was late. 

I wore the jacket for the rest of the day and it certainly kept me nice and warm~❤ I loved it! There was also this lovely and unexpected effect of wearing his jacket: it was like he was hugging me all over!! 🤭🤭🤭 It made me feel even more cozier and comfy! I ended up asking him if I could borrow it for a little longer and he said it was fine, but I'm not sure how long I'll end up keeping it since my dad pointed out that since I have it, he's currently without a very good winter jacket. However, there is some good that came out of this situation: when I was warming up that first day, I noticed that he had a hole three layers deep in the right side of his jacket! :O So being the duteous girlfriend, I went to the sewing department after I got off and got a very cute patch and went straight home and patched it right up! :33 

Olaf to the rescue!

I know that some might say (and many have already said to me) that it looks a little ugly since I picked a very brighty-coloured patch while the jacket itself is a grey/maroon plaid, but I think it adds a cuteness factor to and it also gives some life to the jacket. If anyone were to say anything to him while wearing it, he could just tell them that he's wearing his winter jacket and Olaf lives during winter, but one of the things I absolute adore about my Darling is that he doesn't care what anyone thinks and isn't bothered by trying to be as masculine as possible :3 So I'm sure he won't mind at all when he sees it!! I did tell him afterwards that I had patched it and hoped he didn't mind and he seemed very happy and grateful and thanked me for that :3 so here's to hoping he doesn't mind the Olaf-patch, in sha Allah. 

All in all, today was a lovely little lazy day~
